Grandma Sorensen came to visit us for two weeks and meet Baby Sissy. Carter loved having the extra attention and here and Grandma settled into a nice little daily routine. Grandma would make her a nice fresh cooked breakfast every morning. Then they would get ready and walk down the park to play (mommy and baby joined them most of the time). Grandma taught Carter how to make "cakes" out of the sand and then would mold the cake, then put "sprinkles" on them and decorate them with small acorns and flowers they found in the park. Two months after Grandma's visit and Carter still does this every time we go to the park. They would spend all morning at the park and then come home in time for lunch. Carter insisted on eating a yogurt with grandma everyday. She would talk Grandma into taking her outside everyday to eat it and almost everyday Grandma would say, "Ok, but no pool today." But usually Carter won and would be in the pool in just a few minutes! :) The pool was still pretty cold so I started turning the hot tub on for them!
While Carter took a nap, my mom worked on a cute little dress for Blakely so that Carter and Blakely would have matching dresses (post later).
