Gold Rush Days

Last weekend Matt and I went out to good old Wickenburg last weekend for Gold Rush Days with our friends Mike and Jess.  It was so much fun.  It reminded me of the Sanpete County Fair - an interesting mix of people, food so disgusting it's good, scary rides that probably weren't assembled right and lots of cute little shops.  They even had a rodeo but we missed it! :(  We walked around to all the little shops and ate the delicious food but no one actually dared to get on the rides!  We also toured their little museum there.  In the basement they had a whole set up of what the old town would have looked like.  It was cute but the fake people were a little creepy.  Here are a few pics.
